There’s a reason pontoons represent one of the fastest-growing segments of the powerboat market. Builders like Premier are putting out boats that offer buyers everything they need to enjoy a day on the water, both above and below the waterline. Premier’s Grand Majestic 250 LTD is a great example.
The 250 Grand Majestic’s floor plan is fantastic, afforded in part because by design pontoons can carry the still-trailerable 8-foot, 6-inch length from bow to stern. Take a look aft at the Bombay Bar, just inside the rear gate: It features a Corian countertop, an insulated cooler with a stainless-steel lid, a freshwater sink and two bar stools.
Comfort reigns supreme throughout, thanks to the Flexsteel support system built into the couches and chairs. The Flexsteel is hidden under plush cushioning covered in heavy-duty vinyl featuring Nano Block technology.
Whoever’s driving is going to dig the Liberty helm atop the raised Command View platform, featuring the Beacon touch-screen display in the dash, which puts key data at your fingertips. It’s incredibly intuitive to use.
The PTX performance package features a third tube along the centerline. The center tube has a 12-inch planing pad that, combined with the lifting strakes on the outer tubes, helps the boat get up and go. It also handles like a V-hull, giving the 250 Grand Majestic a sweet ride.
