For people who love to use their mobile phone for everything, Mercury Marine now has the VesselView Mobile app. It provides users access to their boat’s SmartCraft digital data on iOS and Android mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.
SmartCraft is a fully integrated suite of digital technologies, including marine gauge sensors, vessel systems and computer-controlled features. On their screens, users can see SmartCraft engine data, as well as maintenance reminders, mapping, performance summaries and fault-code diagnostics.
The VesselView app can also locate the closest Mercury dealer if you are boating in a new area and need assistance. The app also provides users with a Web-based account that lets them analyze detailed information, such as fuel consumption per trip. The VesselView Mobile module is available at Mercury Marine dealers in May for $275 and is compatible with all SmartCraft-capable engines built since 2003. The app will be available for a free download from the App Store or from Google Play in May.
