2025 Regency 230 LE3

The 230 LE3 combines a luxurious ride with numerous features and standout performance.

Regency is Tracker’s premium pontoon line. Even so, this 25-plus-footer fitted with a Mercury 250 Verado outboard and capable of 42-plus mph speeds goes out the door at Tracker dealers at a no-haggle price of $81,995 (plus freight and sales tax) as tested. A lot of value is built into the package to delight with features and performance.

The 230 LE3’s charcoal exterior fencing and black Diamond Coat powder-coated logs give the Regency an elegant look to surround that performance. It accelerated to 30 mph in a cat-quick 6.2 seconds. With a full 52-gallon tank, range is 156 miles at a best-recorded cruise speed of 15.4 mph and 3,000 rpm. Those solid numbers translate to an economical experience on the water. The Regency 230 LE3 runs and drives like a luxury vehicle, crossing boat wakes and cutting turns cleanly, with no surprises.

The Regency is also built with luxury and longevity in mind. From the water up, triple 26-inch-diameter logs are welded with a multichamber internally braced buoyancy design, with lifting strakes that get the tubes on top while adding rigidity to them. They’re attached to the deck with full-length longitudinal M-brackets and full-width Z-bar crossmembers. A 3/4-inch treated-plywood deck is covered with padded cool-touch woven flooring. It’s all covered by a limited lifetime structural warranty and a 10-year bow-to-stern warranty.

Abovedecks, the interior layout provides a traditional bow conversation pit with long facing lounges. Regency’s new patented Stow More seating design allows the seatback to swing open on special hinges, providing convenient access to the generous compartments below—and that is in addition to underseat stowage. Nobody has to give up their seat to grab sunscreen, towels or other gear. Amidships, twin swiveling and reclining captain’s chairs provide plush comfort for the captain and navigator. Aft, a three-quarter-width reversible swingback lounge platform is great for sunning and watersports observation. The aft end of the boat is closed in with an attractive stainless-steel railing for safety.
