You want a fiberglass fishing boat. But bass boats can bust you up on rough days or in cold weather where the low gunwales expose you to the conditions. Skeeter’s newest and biggest deep-V boat, the WX2100, hits some sweet middle ground, matching the appeal of a lean fiberglass profile with a deep interior, full windshield and sharp keep to crease the chop.
The focus of the WX2100 is performance (rated for 300 hp) and making fishing easy. It comes with sonar, recirculating baitwells and livewells, and an 80-pound thrust trolling motor – among a laundry list of features, Skeeter introduced the smaller WX1880 three years ago, and this version brings 18 more inches of length to the forward deck.
