The letter “Z” is used in catchy model names within the boat and automotive industry. It’s more than an edgy letter in this Tigé model, which, though not brand new, still sets a design standard in the ski/wakeboard segment. Hard angles are incorporated everywhere, from the transom to the seat bases to the optional tower. It’s important to note, though, that a cool design does not supersede comfort. The Z1 has a wide beam through the most-often-used part of the cockpit, so it’s easy to move forward and aft without forcing seated passengers to squeeze together. The boat is a fit for big lakes too, because of its high freeboard and ability to cut through moderately choppy water.
