On the heels of its new 430 SSC flagship, Formula Boats pulled the sheet off its new 350 CBR at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The new Crossover Bowrider sports an LOA of 37 feet 11 inches, with a 10-foot-9-inch beam. With twin outboards, it weighs 13,070 pounds, and adding a third motor raises the weight to 13,850 pounds. Fuel capacity for the outboard-powered version is 222 gallons.
The 350 CBR has expanded bow and cabin space, and the design extends the fun in the bow entertainment zone. The cockpit and bow are on one level, so it’s easy to move around the boat. There is still plenty of room in the plush cockpit, and the 350 CBR is the only outboard in its class to provide a spacious aft-facing sun lounge and extended swim platform. The boat is also available in sterndrive power.
The cabin is set up for overnight trips or taking a break from the sun, with 6 feet 2 inches of headroom. The galley is modeled after high-end private aircraft, and there’s a double settee with a full-size memory-foam berth. The private head has a VacuFlush toilet, a vanity, a custom molded sink with a faucet, Corian countertop, a retractable showerhead and wood-grain-finish flooring.
