SI-TEX Marine Electronics received a prestigious 2024 Manufacturer of the Year Award at the recently concluded National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) Convention in Providence, Rhode Island.
SI-TEX Vice President Sales & Marketing Allen Schneider accepted the award before hundreds of representatives of the marine electronics industry, including dealers, distributors, sales rep organizations and other manufacturers from across the nation. SI-TEX was recognized as a Manufacturer of the Year (Level 1) which is available to small-sized companies based on the number of employees.
The NMEA’s guidelines for this award state that voters should base their choice on pre-sales and after sales support, product support and warranty policies, on-time delivery of products, completeness of orders shipped, spares availability, and quality and reliability of the company’s products. These guidelines further state that the Manufacturer of the Year award is not about sales volume of the manufacturer, the breadth of the manufacturer’s product range or specific product features. In other words, this award is about how the company does business and meets the needs of its partners.
