Livorsi Marine has introduced the industry’s first stepped trim tab, the Livorsi 1150. While conventional tabs have a single-level running surface, the Livorsi stepped tabs introduce air via a number of grooves, channels and steps that relieve friction, making the tabs and the boat they are mounted on faster and more efficient. The stepped design lets the tab release from the water stream faster, reducing drag. You can choose between Livorsi’s 12-inch-wide transom plate or the 14-inch plate that Mercury uses for its popular K-Plane trim tabs. Livorsi offers the tabs in four different styles: pointed, fish tail, rounded and square.
