A recent New York Times piece brought attention to Senator Marco Rubio’s purchase of a boat after he received $800,000 from a book publisher. The Times stated:
But at the same time, he splurged on an extravagant purchase: $80,000 for a luxury speedboat, state records show.

To some, that might constitute a “luxury speedboat”, but the Huffington Post’s Ryan Grim broke down the differences. In any case, the EdgeWater 245CC is a fine boat that’s fit for everyone from hardcore anglers to boating families, and yes, even United States senators.
