Sailrite has a series of sewing machines starting at around $600 that are sturdy enough to handle two or three layers of fabric. They also sell the complete Sunbrella line and have a free series of ‘how to’ videos to help guide you through the project. When you’re done you can go ahead and make canvas doodads to cover or hold everything aboard, or you can just sell the machine and get back much of what you paid for it originally…along with a whopping sense of satisfaction.
