We Say: The clean, sleek styling of this center-console from Venture by American turns heads. A custom tower and triple Yamaha F350 outboards make it a bonafide offshore fishing machine. Our boat was equipped with a 48-inch-wide, two-person leaning-post module with a wrap-around backrest. A foldout footrest below and angled footrest at the base of the console added comfort. Abaft the helm seating module was an aft-facing bench-style seat with a cooler below. Three Garmin 15-inch touch-screen displays filled the helm panel. SeaStar Solutions’ power-assist hydraulic steering reined in the 1,050 ponies. The hardtop featured a recess in the aft center for a ladder leading aloft.
A 55-gallon livewell resides in the transom. A transom door allows access to the swim platforms. Our boat also featured a portside dive door.
Forward of the console we found a high-back seat with armrests and an insulated cooler underneath. A step-down head is accessible via a companionway on the port side of the console.
The vacuum-bagged, PVC-core construction features a high-density polyurethane transom core, solid stringers and bulkheads. The boat carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Who’d Want One: Anglers seeking speed, ride quality and customization.
Another Choice: The Invincible 39 ($315,000 with triple Yamaha F350s) is also a serious fishing machine for offshore anglers, but it features a step hull.
Bottom Line: $360,900 (as tested); venturebyamerican.com
