Ryan Izquierdo spent four days exploring Pensacola on the brand-new Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra 160LX-S Angler, testing its limits from inshore flats and bridges to 30 miles offshore in the Gulf. The adventure pushed the Jet Ski through everything from calm backwater drifts to offshore trolling for pelagic species, with the team covering over 300 miles in total. Light tackle, live shrimp, jigs, and swimbaits put a handful of species in the mix, including black drum, flounder, and mangrove snapper, while a giant kingfish and bull redfish added unforgettable moments on the skis.
Fishing from a Jet Ski offered a fresh perspective on Pensacola’s fisheries, letting Ryan drift along bridge pilings, skim the flats, and troll offshore with agility and speed. The team adapted to changing conditions, navigating tides and open-ocean swells while capturing every strike on camera. The trip demonstrated the Kawasaki Angler’s versatility and brought Pensacola’s vibrant fishery to life in an entirely new way.
