All-new looks, an updated running surface, new interior styling and more make Centurion’s Fi23 one of the bigger, badder 23-foot watersports boats available.
The higher gunwales of the 2023 Fi23 allow for deeper, more comfortable seating, along with a drier ride. Higher gunwales can mean trickier boarding, but Centurion added a bit of width and GatorStep nonskid decking to obviate that issue. And thanks to Centurion’s signature Opti-V hull—with 30 degrees of deadrise at the bow—the Fi23 rides smooth in choppy waters. In front, the broad bow quickly transitions into aggressive lines while allowing ample space for friends to sit facing forward or aft. An optional sliding rear bench with multiple positions and removable backrests provides more variety in seating. The transom walk-through eases entry and exit. Also at the transom, the optional flip-up backrests provide great lounging.
The Fi23 boasts big performance, starting with its 5,250 pounds of available ballast. Centurion’s QuickSurf Pro plates shape all that displaced water into clean, symmetrical surfaces for all kinds of riding. The wakesurf waves can be adjusted for all riding levels and styles with the center-mounted Stinger Wave Plate.
Easily control the boat’s systems via the Pano side-by-side touchscreens at the helm. Seven independent ballast zones allow you to customize the Fi23’s displacement. Paddle shifters on the steering wheel allow quick adjustments to the cruise-control and Stinger Wake Plate settings without taking your hands off the wheel or eyes off the water. Optional Ramfill2, aka the “baller” ballast system, fills in 90 seconds thanks to newly added 2-inch ball valves. The optional Range of View (ROV) fuel-monitoring system provides burn and range estimates and, along with the docking cameras, represent advances in convenience.
With room for 14 people, the Fi23 tackles storage with deep, easy-to-access compartments. Two convenient lockers in the transom gunwales work well for dock lines, towropes and handles. And, with interior options totaling 24 billion, customization to the smallest detail is possible.
