The Elite 27 OB expands Monterey’s award-winning Elite series with a single-engine version that presents nearly all the deck space and features of the Elite 30 (Boating’s 2024 Boat of the Year). The vertical stem design brings near-vertical sides together to support a gunnel-mounted hardtop and head-turning profile.

At the heart of this vessel is the dramatically centered helm—perhaps its most impressive feature. Dual bucket seats are arranged like those in a performance boat, with throttle and trim tabs positioned centrally for intuitive control. The comprehensive Simrad display provides complete engine monitoring while doubling as navigation and entertainment control with its touchscreen interface. The helm area also features dual inductive phone chargers—one on the dash and another in the starboard glove box.

The Elite 27 OB’s interior layout maximizes both comfort and functionality. The bow seating area offers high-sided forward-facing lounges with convenient grab rails and integrated charging ports. Most impressive is the front and center console lounge that conceals a spacious head compartment with an electric flushing toilet (optional) and a freshwater sink.

Aft of the helm, the L-shaped lounge creates an ideal conversation area, especially when the helm seats are swiveled backward. This versatile seating arrangement can transform into multiple configurations: a rear-facing sun pad, a tilted lounge facing the water, or an additional facing lounge using the removable seatback. The starboard walkway provides easy access to the transom platform where dual ladders are safely positioned away from the motor.

Entertainment features abound, including a starboard galley with freshwater sink and pull-out shower, powerful JL speakers, subwoofer, and a Fusion controller that integrates seamlessly with the Simrad display. With speeds exceeding 50 mph from its single-engine configuration, the Elite 27 OB delivers an uncompromised blend of performance and luxury that stands out in a market crowded by generic bowriders.
