The Navan S30 combines Euro-inspired design with built-in-the-USA muscle. It was engineered at Brunswick’s Boat Group Technology Center in Edgewater, Florida

The open, sun-loving sibling to Navan’s enclosed C30 pilothouse model, the S30 is designed for those who crave breeze and blue sky as much as they do performance. Boarding is effortless, thanks to broad swim platforms that wrap neatly around optional twin Mercury 300 hp Verado V-8s. The optional GatorStep decking adds comfort and grip, while an optional ski-tow arch doubles as a handy grab point for guests coming aboard.

The layout works under way or while socializing on the hook. The expansive aft lounge and amidships bench can face forward for cruising or flip to create a sociable, aft-facing conversation area centered around an optional bifold teak table. Add the entertainment center—complete with sink, beverage storage, grill, and optional refrigerators—and you can entertain in fine style at the dock, sandbar or wherever you explore.

At the helm, twin captain’s chairs sit beneath a bright hardtop with smoked skylights. The racy windshield and sporty helm delivered clear sightlines whether seated or standing. Belowdecks, we found a roomy cabin that belies this boat’s long, low and slender looks, It sleeps two and includes a wet head with handheld shower, facilitating weekend getaways.

Forward, find a sun lounge with plush cushions, backrests, and cup holders, while an optional anchor windlass takes the strain off the captain.

Under way, the S30 rides Brunswick’s patented T-Hull—a vented, twin- step design. We found it responsive and uncovered no quirks or foibles. During test runs the S30 leapt onto plane in 4 seconds, hit 30 mph in 7 seconds, and topped out at 57.1 mph when we mashed the throttle levers. With Trim Assist, ZipWake interceptors, Mercury Joystick Piloting and Skyhook, plus the patented T-Step Hull, the Navan S30 is equipped to help you deliver the best ride and a great time while enjoying family and friends afloat.
