2026 Regal LX2 Ultimate

The LX2 Ultimate offers nearly endless customization and an exceptional ride.

Regal’s LX2 pushes the boundaries of traditional bowriders. Its thinner gunwales allows interior space to be maximized. Social Seating, a versatile design that includes lengthy benches down both port and starboard sides and flip-over backrests at the four corner seats, takes full advantage of the space. Flip backrests to the rear for a forward-facing focus when running, flip captain’s and mate’s backrests forward to enhance face-to-face socializing at rest, flip individual backrests to catch ski and wake action, or flip aft seatbacks forward to emphasize the boats aft “rumble seats” and extended, wraparound swim platform. Its single-level design is unique in that it transitions directly into the center transom walk-through without a step.

Physical boundaries aren’t the only ones broken. Rather than a tiny handful of color and accessory choices, Regal’s Ultimate Trim Series offers nearly a million ways to personalize your ride. Mix and match a vast array of interior color combinations, choose a tower, even select your favorite audio-system brand. The end result promises to be unique.

Interior highlights include an LED backlight that gives the dash a floating effect and twin 9-inch Garmin touchscreen displays. The extra-wide helm seat features a flip-up bolster and adjusts fore and aft at the push of a button—a rarity in a boat of this size. The port console adds a lockable glove box and head unit for the Bluetooth-equipped Fusion audio system. In the bow, find wraparound seating with forward-facing backrests, flip-down armrests, a mount for a pedestal table and a dedicated anchor locker.

Regal’s FasTrac hull design features a full-beam step, introducing air to reduce drag, boost top speed and increase fuel efficiency. Equipped with a Yamaha 250 outboard, our test boat reached 30 mph in a mere 6.6 seconds before topping out just shy of 52 mph. The most economical cruising speed was a brisk 31.4 mph with the motor burning a minimal 10.9 gph. As to FasTrac’s cornering ability, reverse chines and large lifting strakes displayed exceptional grip, allowing the hull to stay glued to the water in tight high-speed turns.
