Seakeeper has announced the addition of two new Ride underway stabilization systems designed for boats from about 37 to 42 feet in length overall. The Seakeeper Ride 750 and 750 Quad join Seakeeper’s three existing Ride systems, which are capable of eliminating up to 70 percent of pitch and roll while underway on boats as small as 19 feet in length overall.

While the two new Ride 750 and 750 Quad are designed for boats of the same size, they have different controller sizes and fit different kinds of transoms. The Ride 750 system consists of two larger controllers and will fit most vessels in this size range. The 750 Quad, on the other hand, has four smaller controllers and is suitable for unique transoms that may have hull-design elements that restrict space for installing the actuators.

Both the systems are designed with aluminum components, a deviation from previous products that use composite construction. The change adds greater strength needed for larger vessels.

As with the existing Ride 450 (for boats up to 26 feet), 525 (27 to 30 feet) and 600 (31 to 36 feet), the 750 and 750 Quad utilize advanced three-axis sensing software and high-speed electric actuators to automatically eliminate bow oscillation and pounding, smooth out the ride in rough seas, and keep the boat running on an even keel, even when crewmembers shift positions.

The Seakeeper Ride 750 system retails for $17,500, and the Seakeeper Ride 750 Quad system retails for $20,500. Shipment began in mid-October. Learn more at ride.seakeeper.com.
