Exploring Tampa’s Inshore and Offshore Waters on a Fishing Jet Ski

From Florida’s largest open-water estuary to endless fishing opportunities in the Gulf, Tampa has a lot of water to explore. But the crowded coastline and one of the nation’s busiest shipping channels means a lot of traffic and activity, which makes personal watercraft an efficient means for navigating it all. Outfitted with the Kawasaki Jet Ski® Ultra® 160LX-S Angler, @sunsoutfishing and @seeyadude descend on Tampa to chase redfish and trout inshore and gag grouper, red grouper and mangrove snapper offshore. Join creators Tyler Wald and Brent Schirmer for Part One of this adventure.

This Boating Adventure is powered by Kawasaki and ICOM.

Chase the bite in a totally new way with the Kawasaki Jet Ski® Ultra® 160LX-S Angler, the three-passenger personal watercraft that takes the Ultra 160 platform and adds fishing-focused features like a chartplotter, front and back rod holders and stabilizing smart floats. Fishing PWCs have reached a new high water mark.

Made for serious boaters, ICOM’s IC-M94D is the first handheld VHF with built-in AIS, plus Class-H DSC, GPS, and AIS data for location, bearing, and speed. Its large, easy-to-read interface and flat-sheet keypad keep operation simple. Extra features include Float’n Flash™, AquaQuake™, active noise canceling, and MOB alert.

This Boating Adventure was supported by Icom.
