A wild brawl between boaters on a Florida lake went viral last week after video of the incident was picked up by national news organizations. The video shows two groups of men throwing punches, knocking one participant unconscious, during a dispute at a popular sandbar.
Major media outlets, including the New York Post, posted clips of the video in their news reports.
Eight people were arrested for taking part in the melee, which occurred on Lake Winterset in Polk County, Florida.
Rafting up and hanging out at sandbars and in coves has become a huge part of boating culture, with people enjoying the activity at both lakes and in saltwater hot spots all around the country. But, as this video shows, sometimes the partying can get out of hand.
