Earlier this summer, our team set out to explore Biscayne Bay—one of Florida’s most iconic shallow-water fisheries. Just minutes from downtown Miami, the bay offers a unique mix of clear flats, winding mangroves and productive channels. Creators Brent Schirmer and Tyler Wald spent four days on their skiff, chasing tarpon, bonefish, mutton snapper and yellow jacks. From sight-fishing calm flats to working deeper cuts between passing storms, the action did not disappoint. More than just a fishing trip, this adventure—produced in partnership with GEICO—highlighted the remarkable blend of natural beauty and urban backdrop that makes Biscayne Bay a must-fish destination for inshore anglers.

Tyler Wald is a full-time content creator born and raised in Miami, Florida. Tyler has known from the age of 5 that fishing is his undeniable passion. Brent Schirmer (See Ya Dude)
Brent Schirmer is a content creator based in Tampa Bay, Florida. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2018, then moved back to the Tampa Bay Area and began filming his fishing and camping trips. Almost 5 years and over 300 videos on YouTube later, Brent focuses on high quality, educational videos for inshore and offshore saltwater fishing for fishermen of all skill-sets and experience.
