The new M94D from Icom is the first handheld VHF with a built-in AIS receiver, enabling boaters to track AIS-equipped vessels on the radio display for greater safety on waterways with a high amount of boat traffic. An AIS call function allows you to set up an individual call easily with a boat showing up as an AIS target. Plus, the DSC function enables automatic distress calls with the rear panel button.
The M94D also features 6 watts of transmission power and class-leading audio output with improved acoustic sound clarity.
