This is a line of affordable chart plotter/sonar combo units featuring built-in CHIRP down-looking sonar, as well as CHIRP DownVu and SideVu scanning sonar. They come loaded with inland or coastal water charts. The eseries is available in 4-, 5-, 7- and 9-inch color displays with an intuitive, keyed interface. With NMEA 2000 compatibility (except the 4-inch), the new echoMAPs can also receive information from sensors, engines, autopilots and more. Garmin Quickdraw Contours

This free, easy-to-use Garmin software lets mariners create personalized high-definition fishing maps with one-foot contours on any body of water. Results appear instantly on a compatible Garmin sonar-enabled chart plotter and the maps can be kept private or shared with others, Garmin says. User-generated points of interest and waypoints can be added. Garmin made a big splash today with the debut of five new marine-electronic product lines to kick off the 2015 Fort Lauderdale International Boat (Nov. 5-9). Highlights include a new echoMap CHIRP series, Striker fish finders, Quickdraw Contours user-enhanced fishing charts, and two series of transducers.
