Marine Technology Inc. showed off the latest version of its new 340X catamaran also at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. It was built for the owner of the 52-foot-long MTI catamaran, Black Diamond, and, as we see in the photos, the smaller outboard-powered boat has the same name.
Powered by twin Mercury Racing Verado 400R outboards, the new boat hits speeds approaching 120 mph. It was a wraparound windshield to protect the passengers in the six high-backed bucket seats, and the helm can be installed on either side with the Mercury DTS controls in the center.
