Beneteau Flyer 30: A Day Boat With Offshore Attitude

The Flyer 30 combines a high-tech stepped hull, versatile cockpit spaces and thoughtful amenities with impressive performance.

The Beneteau Flyer 30 brings a fresh approach to the day boat market, blending distinctive styling, innovative construction and versatile entertaining spaces with performance that stands out on the water.

Powered by twin 300-hp Mercury Verado outboards, the Flyer 30 reached a top speed of 55.5 mph during testing on Tampa Bay. Its 210-gallon fuel capacity also delivers a potential range of 300 miles, making it well-suited for extended days on the water. The engines impressed with smooth, quiet operation.

At the heart of the Flyer 30 is a double-stepped SVVT hull designed by Michael Peters, paired with Beneteau’s cutting-edge construction method that combines infusion and injection molding to create a monolithic hull and stringer system. Its distinctive asymmetrical deck layout creates a wide port-side walkway to the bow, while allowing for a spacious helm, expansive windshield and seating for three across.

The helm features dual Garmin displays, a bow-thruster joystick and excellent visibility. Forward, a deep U-shaped lounge accommodates six, with storage and optional overhead shade. The aft cockpit offers generous seating, an integrated galley, abundant storage and flexible backrests for entertaining or enjoying sunset views.

A spacious swim platform completes the package, providing easy access to the water.

From performance to comfort and clever design details, the Flyer 30 delivers a compelling combination for boaters seeking an adaptable, feature-rich day boat.
