Regal 34 XO: Luxury Day Boating Meets Weekend-Cruising Versatility

Smart spatial design and impressive overnight accommodations make Regal’s new 34-foot outboard a standout.

When stepping aboard Regal Boats’ brand-new 34 XO, it immediately becomes clear that this model was built by true boaters. While it places a heavy emphasis on high-end luxury day boating, it easily transitions into an overnight cruiser equipped to entertain family and guests all weekend long.

What stands out most on the 34 XO is how remarkably well it is laid out. Navigating around the entire vessel is seamless thanks to an exceptionally efficient use of space.

A Transformative Transom & Cockpit

At the stern, the transom is designed to function as an entire floating island rather than just an enclosed aft deck. Broad swim platform wings extend on either side of the outboard engines for effortless water access, supported by a removable portside boarding ladder and a convenient freshwater washdown to rinse off salt or sand.

The centerpiece of the aft space is Regal’s signature Ultra Lounge. The seat offers multiple positions allowing passengers to face forward or aft, or recline completely flat to join the mezzanine seating to form a massive sunpad. Alternatively, boaters can customize this area for fishing by opting for a console featuring a flip-down seat and a 30-gallon livewell. Beneath the Ultra Lounge, the entire assembly pivots upward to reveal a expansive, meticulously organized lazarette with easy access to pumps, strainers, electrical gear, and abundant extra storage.

Boarding is made effortless via a side boarding door—a rare luxury on a 34-foot boat—along with fold-down steps and attractive, non-slip teak side steps.

Flexible Socializing & Elevated Amenities

Moving into the cockpit, what would typically be a standard wet bar functions as a near-full galley. It comes outfitted with a freshwater sink, a pull-out refrigerator, a dedicated AC outlet, and a clever pop-up lid that reveals a stove top alongside extra counter space.

Across from the galley lies an elevated L-shaped portside lounge that comfortably seats up to five people. With flip-down armrests, overhead TV views, dedicated AC vents, and a removable pedestal table, it serves as an ideal central hub for socializing.

At the helm, the captain enjoys an electronically adjustable seat with flip-down armrests and integrated footrests. Dual 16-inch Garmin displays run digital switching that features interactive boat animations—allowing the operator to adjust cabin lighting, actuate the hardtop controls, lower terrace doors, or deploy the optional cockpit shade at the touch of a screen.

Bow Relaxation & Overnight Comfort

Up forward, the bow acts as a spacious sun lounge with deep reclining seating, stainless steel grab handles, stereo controls, anchor windlass access, and a freshwater washdown. An optional filler cushion turns the bow into an even larger sunbed, while an available Bahama shade keeps passengers cool on sunny days.

Down below, the cabin is thoughtfully appointed for overnighting. An L-shaped lounge and dining table easily convert into a full-size bed, using the backrests as filler cushions to eliminate storage hassle. To maximize space inside the head, Regal shifted the vanity out into the berth area, allowing one person to use the sink and mirror while another uses the shower.

Combining smart layout solutions, luxury day-boating comfort, and genuine overnight capability, the Regal 34 XO proves itself to be a thoughtfully engineered 34-footer.
