Godfrey Marine’s Sanpan 2700 Split Bench with Windshield, powered by twin Mercury Racing 500R outboards, went 30 mph in 3.2 seconds, hitting 71.6 mph at 6,650 rpm. We found the Sanpan remarkably easy to drive fast— it’s rock-steady at 70 mph. The iMPACT+ tri-toon configuration gives superlative tracking; the boat leans into turns, banking gracefully, even at speed.
Though the Sanpan delivers awesome performance, that’s just the frosting on a very luxurious cake. Godfrey went all-out for this top-line flagship, and it shows. Above deck, features include fiberglass exterior paneling in Pitch Black gelcoat with built-in headlights, docking lights, and navigation lights. Entry aboard at the bow is through a push-button gate (a nifty touch). Standard lighting also includes Full Spectrum RGB color lighting, featuring courtesy lighting, and lighted cup holders, underwater lights, speaker and underseat mood lights.
Aboard, the Sanpan’s layout is traditional. Twin facing loungers in the bow and two more astern create large and comfortable conversation pits, separated amidships by twin consoles with a full-closing windshield. The captain’s helm is new for 2026—standard with a 9-inch “envelope” widescreen, a 12-inch MFD and digital switching. The captain gets cooled cup holders and a phone charger. A handy trash receptacle hides inside this helm, and there’s still plenty of storage room inside the console too.
The aft deck is spacious, with plenty of room for sunning and watersports prep. A watersports tow point is standard.
The optional Bronze package adds furniture upholstered in Raven Cool-Touch with black grab handles, bronze accents and badging, Onyx Cool-Touch flooring. Also optional is the twin-engine blackout package, which features black seat pedestals, a black Lillipad aft boarding ladder, an XP custom steering wheel, and blacked-out pontoons. Our tester also featured Godfrey’s Grand Luxe electric folding arch with an integrated power Bimini top and an underbow-mounted anchor windlass with quick-release.
