There’s a new kind of watersports boat! And it may be hitting a lake near you soon.
Born of the collaboration of Indmar, Pavati, and Roush Performance, the AL26, as its called, offers features not seen before aboard an inboard (V-drive) waterpsports boat.
For instance, there is a screen that lets a surfer behind the boat see the boat speed and settings. There’s is also apparently 360-degrees of engine access, meaning DIY boaters (and the mechanics of other boaters) will be doing flips in their driveways and garages. Another cool feature? It’s got autopilot. That’s a first as standard equipment for a watersports boat (surely some clever boat owner somewhere has done this aftermarket) and offers watersports boats owners the same steering convenience owners of other boat types regularly enjoy.
Check out the video and read the statement below for more information. And, look for our test of this innovative new boat coming soon.
And if you really can’t wait? Head to the 2023 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show where you can see it in person at Indmar’s booth MB2090 in the Convention Center.
Industry-first features to be debuted at Miami International Boat Show:
360° Engine Access | This allows for quick and easy servicing of the reliable Indmar engine. |
