An electric boat bonanza occurs on June 6, 2026 at Pleasure Cove Marina on California’s Lake Berryessa. That’s when the Lake Berryessa Electric Boat Festival kicks off. Presented in partnership with the Electric Marine Leadership Summit, the event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and boating enthusiasts for a full day focused on the rapidly-evolving future of electric propulsion in recreational boating.

Designed as both an educational forum and a hands-on showcase, the festival will feature the latest advancements in electric outboards, battery systems, charging infrastructure, and integrated marine technologies. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge electric boats and personal watercraft, while also participating in demonstrations and on-water experiences that highlight the growing capabilities of zero-emission boating.

The accompanying summit will welcome representatives from organizations including the California CORE Project, the California Air Resources Board’s Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program, and regional air districts from Sacramento to San Diego. Discussions will center on how electrification is reshaping marine recreation and accelerating adoption across the state’s waterways.

Organizers point to the California CORE Project as a major catalyst in advancing electric workboats and recreational vessels throughout key boating markets, including the Bay Area, Newport Beach, and San Diego.
